Apocalypse Now was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and is considered a true cinema classic. Starring Marlon Brando, Martin Sheen and Robert Duvall the action takes place during the Vietnam War. The plot concerns a renegade Soldier (Brando) and Sheen's hunt for him. Based on Conrad's "Heart of Darkness" this is a powerful, memorable movie.
